S...Paul Newman made a mistake in turning this down. Steve McQueen would have been a better choice than Clint, who came off as a little smarmy. Thayer David & Gregory Walcott were well cast. Jack Cassidy turned in a good performance. I enjoyed it, but felt that it could have been more true to the Trevanian novel which I found excellent and not 'patronizing'.
