My dad was a huge Spillane fan, and I remember reading them in his paperback collection while still in my formative (grade school) years. My teachers would have had a fit had they known. The one I remember most vividly, which likely was the first one I plucked from the shelf, was <b><i>Vengeance Is Mine</i></b>, or whichever one starts out "The guy was dead as hell." Woooo!
