...Ed here: One of the abiding pleasures of the late Sixties and early Seventies was reading Ron Goulart's take on them in his very sleek and cool (all right--groovy) John Easy p.i, mysteries. Now Otto Penzler's great Mysterious Press e website has published three of them in e book form. Ron assures me that The Same Lie Twice will be available soon. http://mysteriouspress.com/authors/

Now if someone would reissue Ron Goulart as Kenneth Robeson "The Avenger" books.
I read all four of these back then and really enjoyed them.
These four were favorites way back when.
These were some of my favorite P.I. novels from that time period. I have three of them.

I loved the John Easy books. Goulart has written so many pbo's; it's good to find out that some are being made available again.
